German fashion royalty, Montblanc debuts in Nigeria

Renowned global luxury fashion house, Montblanc, has stretched its imprint to the shores of Lagos, opening its first West African retail boutique in the Lekki axis of the state.

Renowned global luxury fashion house, Montblanc, has stretched its imprint to the shores of Lagos, opening its first West African retail boutique in the Lekki axis of the state.

The fashion powerhouse has been expanding to African markets in the past few years, with its standalone boutiques in Cote d’Ivoire, South Africa and Morocco. The 115-year-old Maison aims at uplifting the luxury fashion scene in Africa. Its longstanding partner Polo Luxury also facilitated its entry into the country.

Packing various collections of stylish watches, travel accessories and writing instruments, the Lagos Montblac boutique will become the new bus stop for making elegant fashion statements.
   


Sited on the Ground Level of the Palms Shopping Mall, in Lekki, the Boutique is designed with the Neo² design concept by acclaimed French designer Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance. The design articulates Maison’s long-standing passion for craftsmanship and presents a pure and uncluttered appealing, mixing black, white and wood for a contemporary retail environment that engages and inspires.
   
The boutique showcases a variety of sought-after collections including the latest Montblanc Meisterstück collection that pays homage to the great literary adventure by French author Jules Verne and brings to life the fantastical story of world circumnavigation through elegant design elements inspired by the themes of the classic adventure. It also houses a collector’s corner showcasing a number of sought-after collector pieces that will be generating interest across the continent, as well as an immersive ink bar experience offering customers the chance to test the full spectrum of Montblanc writing instruments, nibs and inks.
