It was celebration galore for the family of popular gospel minstrel, Pastor Kunle Ajayi of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and his wife, Oluwatoyin, as their first son, Damilola, tied the nuptial knot with his beau, Temitope.

The matrimonial journey started with an engagement on Sunday, August 7 at the Dorchester Event Centre, Victoria Island. The holy solemnisation took place on Tuesday, 9 August at RCCG’s House of Favour at the Redemption Camp, officiated by Pastor Siju Iluyomade.

Reception followed at the RCCG Youth Centre, also at the camp, chaired by Dr. Sam Akinluyi, who noted that the groom’s father is an interesting character that is always available for everybody and encouraged the couple to always pray and praise God together.

Wife of the General Overseer (GO) of the church, Pastor Folu Adeboye, said the gathering was a celebration of greatness, because the story of the father of the bride is that of God making someone great, praying that the couple would be greater than their parents.

The celebration of love was attended by the GO, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, who led other pastors of the church, as well as Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Mrs. Kemi Nelson, Chief Ebenezer Obey, among others.
