High Society was on Thursday, November 23, gathered at Event Hall in Opebi area of Ikeja, Lagos, for the golden celebration of queen of gospel music, Kenny Saint Brown (KSB), who turned 50 on that day.

And friends and fans assembled to celebrate a woman who needs little or no introduction. Before the party train moved to Opebi, there was a thanksgiving service at Revival Assembly in Ogba to appreciate God for an eventful 50 years on earth without any hitch or crash.

While Anslem Madubuko, General Overseer of the church was also on ground to honour and shower the celebrant with rounds of prayer, several notable Nigerian artistes, comedians and fashion buffs were in attendance to support KSB on her special day.

A devout Christian, KSB, as she is fondly called, is a music wizard whose sonorous voice sets legs dancing of their own accord. The talented music star from the prominent Ogungbe family has been going strong for several decades now, even when some other gospel stars are waning or disappearing from the landscape.
