Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, three Southwest governors, members of the National Assembly, captains of industry and the political class would on Saturday, May 14 converge on Ago-Iwoye in Ijebu North Council of Ogun State to witness the final burial of Princess Abigail Efunseeke Adekoya, mother of Abdel-Majid Adesegun Adekoya, prominently known in the Nigeria social circle as Attacker.

The late Princess Adekoya, who died in her sleep at the age of 99 on Saturday, February 20, this year, would be committed to mother earth in weeklong activities.

According to a statement, the homeward journey of the late Princess would commence on Monday, May 9 with the grand finale of an interdenominational choir competition sponsored by Abdel-Majid.

The burial activities would continue on Tuesday, May 10 with a cultural display, followed by a service of songs at Methodist Church of Nigeria on Wednesday May 11, while Thursday, May 12 and Friday, May 13 have been scheduled for Muslim Fidau prayer and commendation service/wake-keep, respectively.

Her remains would be laid to rest in the newly renovated cemetery inside the Methodist in Ago Iwoye. Leading Fuji musicians, such as King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (KWAM 1), Musiliu Haruna Ishola and King Saheed Osupa are expected to thrill the long list of guests expected to be part of the final burial.
