Zara, a determined and ambitious young woman, has been navigating a life full of power struggles, family expectations, and complex relationships. As Zara’s duties at the Lawson Group increased, her personal relationships began to strain. Under mounting pressure, Zara resolved to confront Mr. Lawson, intending to end their arrangement and live a normal life. However, Mr. Lawson hesitated and revealed deeper secrets, disclosing to Zara that his helicopter wasn’t an accident but an attempted murder by someone close to him.  He insisted that Zara stay close as his spy, compelling her to move into his residence for her safety.

Outside the corporate world, Zara’s personal life began to crack. At home, her mother confronted her about her absence. Frustrated, Zara lashed out, expressing her exhaustion and the sacrifices had made to keep the family debt free.

The leadership struggle at the Lawson Group reached new heights when the board proposed Folusho Dada, the CEO of Zanzibar App, as the new chairman. Zara brought back intel for Mr. Lawson, revealing that the board was leaning in favour of Folusho Dada. However, tensions reached a breaking point in the boardroom as Ogun Holdings made its move.

Meanwhile, Mr. Lawson gives Zara a cryptic task to weaken Mrs. Obiora’s influence on the board. Apparently, the delay in naming a new CEO is no accident – it’s all part of his bigger plan to crush his enemies. At this point, it is clear that Mr. Lawson is a master manipulator.
