Ibhadore comes forth with Ife Nla…Greatest Love
Gospel music minister and worship leader, Ibhadore Afolashade Abigeal (nee Adedokun), has released her new gospel track titled Ife Nla meaning ‘Greatest Love’ in English translation to the delight of music lovers.
The new offering according to her, talks about the greatest commandment of God, which is ‘Love’ shown to us through Jesus Christ in which we must transcend to others as found in Romans 5:5.
Though, coming to limelight this year, Ife Nla the vocalist noted was written 15 years ago. “My youth choir leader then at the Mountain of Fire and Ministries (MFM), Alakuko, Olabisi Oluwatosin, usually ask us to compose songs for the year. She wrote the chorus while the Holy Spirit helped me with the verses and with joy I do that for people,” she said.
Ibhadore revealed that the urge to release the song came in September 2018, when a trailer collided with her car while driving at Oju Ore area of Sango-Ota, Ogun State.
“Motorists and onlookers around screamed for my safety. There and then, I heard God spoke to me Shade if you die today what would you be remembered for? He said all the songs I have given you what have you done about them? I took the upsurge with all seriousness and that was what led to Ife Nla’s debut,” she added.
The Mass Communication graduate of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta (MAPOLY), Ogun State, started her singing ministry 23 years ago, when she was seven years, in the children Choir in church.
Commenting on her career growth, the Oke-Ogun Imala (Orile) indigene in Abeokuta North Council, Ogun State said: “I was privileged to share the same stage with Evangelist Tope Alabi during the Lagos Television staff party in 2009 and MAPOLY Joint Campus Christian Fellowship (JCCF) Jesus Week held at the OGD Hall in 2010, and solo performed at the R Foundation held at the Mudal Lawal Stadium, Asero, Abeokuta.
“During my NYSC, I was opportune to serve as the Music Director, Nigeria Christian Corpers Fellowship (NCCF), Ife Central Osun State in 2011. I also served as a member of the Association of Praise & Worship Leader at Mountain of Fire & Miracles Ministries Prayer City alongside the youth choir both at Region & Zonal level for 10 years,” she stated.
As a voiceover artiste, she did a radio jingle for a Yoruba docu-drama titled-Olaju De on Paramount FM, Ogun State. She is presently a member of the music team, Faith Tabernacle Choir, Living Faith Church (a.k.a Winners Chapel), Canaanland Ota.
Aside music, Ibhadore, also spealises in catering and soap production. She is happily married and blessed with two boys Joshua and Zion
