Ikorodu Council chair flags off construction of roads

The Chairman, Ikorodu Local Council, Wasiu Adesina, has flagged off the construction of some roads with the council area. Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony held recently in Ikorodu, Adesina, said that the road construction will begin from Solomade-Adekayaoja streets till all roads within the Ikorodu community are covered.

He described the project as long overdue, noting that the construction of the roads demonstrated his commitment and unwavering dedication to making lives better for the people.

While assuring the people of continuous developmental projects, he stated that the project is more than just physical road rehabilitation, but a symbol of hope and progress in the community.

He said: “As we stand on this site, we are not just breaking ground; we are laying the foundation for a brighter future. A future that will bring great opportunities like, jobs, economic growth, improved infrastructure, among others to the people of this community.”

He stressed the need for politicians to make lasting impact in the lives of the people. “This is a testament to what can be achieve when we come together with a shared vision and a commitment to excellence.
