I’m bigger than the Headies, I‘ll win Grammy —Portable

Portable

Controversial street pop sensation, Habeeb Olalomi Oyegbile better known as Portable has declared that he is bigger than the Headies Award, formerly called the Hip-Hop World Awards, organised by the Ayo Animashaun, owned and led Hip-Hop World Magazine to recognise outstanding achievements in the Nigerian music industry.

The singer who made this known in a new diss song that is making the rounds on social media, added that he would someday win a Grammy, an award presented by the Recording Academy of the United States to recognise outstanding achievements in the music industry.

According to Portable, his lack of a Headies award doesn’t take away from his greatness, as he compares himself to late American rapper, Tupac Amaru Shakur, who is better known by his stage name 2Pac, whom he stated also had no Grammy award.

In the snippet of the song shared on his Instagram page, the self-professed Ika of Africa also emphasised that he’s the sole reason for his failure, and how the people he depended on also failed him.

He pressed on to call out his enemies while ridiculing them for showing up again to taunt him. “At the end of the day, it was only God that stayed; others were just “cappin 99 advisers, one helper, bad energy edapada.

“It cost a lot to get a lot; nobody failed me, I failed myself, thinking everybody was for me like I was for them. It shall not be well with my enemies. Baba yin tide pada bad energy edapada Ika of Africa akoi grace wey no dey disgrace,” he wrote.
