Fast rising Nigerian producer and songwriter, Edmund Alexander, professionally known as Scarlet Sound is out to add his own colorful touch to AfroBeats music and sound.

Scarlet Sound is recently working with Nigerian Legends like Timaya and Ice Prince on both their albums, the port harcourt born music maestro added his own intricate touch of musicality & instrumentation to these stellar projects.

Scarlet has also recently worked with stars like Wizkid, Ajebo Hustlers, Odumodu, Omah Lay, King Perry, Runtown, Naomi amongst others, creating hits with them that could be released at any moment.

Scarlet started out playing drums at the age of four and then inspired by producers like Don Jazzy, Sarz, Blaisebeats and Young Jonn, he later gravitated towards music production where his unique sound was later dubbed Scarlet Sound.

With two standout tracks on Timaya’s new Gladiator album; “Live-Style” and “Blessings” featuring Ghanaian legend Eugy Official, Scarlet is driving his own unique sound in the AfroBeats space.

Scarlet is also honing his songwriting skills as he writes records for multiple artistes or is involved in their songwriting process which is a strong feature in his sonic arsenal.

According to Scarlet, he has been “humbled to work with some of the legends in the game and this is just beginning.”

He looks forward to creating music with some other global icons like Rema, Justin Bieber, Drake and Burna Boy and is very confident that sooner or later the universe will manifest this for him.

For now, he is just taking everything one scarlet sound at a time as he works on his own debut music project.
