Iyalode Alaba Lawson to become NACCIMA president
If information reaching High Society is anything to go by, then Iyalode of Yoruba land, Chief Alaba Oluwaseun Lawson, is likely to become the next president of Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA).
She is presently the deputy president of the organisation and also the president of Federation of Business Women Entrepreneur -Nigeria (FEBWE-Nigeria).
A reliable source said the woman of substance, who comes across as a disciplined and consistent personality, would be officially inaugurated in May next year.
The proprietress of Alaba Lawson Royal College, Abeokuta in Ogun State is an epitome of dedication, dignity and service to humanity.
If not familiar with her background, you would not notice any air of affluence or privilege, not to talk of royalty.
Iyalode is a rare gem and a gift to her generation. She has over the years contributed in no small measure to nation-building and this has endeared her to all and sundry.
The woman of means, who still bubbles with life as ever, was crowned the Iyalode of Egbaland by the late Alake, Oba Oyebade Lipede, in 1999, as well as the Iyalode of Yorubaland by the Alaafin of Oyo.
