Nollywood actress, Chukwukere Sarah Ujunwa popularly known as Hon Sarah Martins has declared that every single lady needs a supportive partner and not a sugar daddy, noting that there is a huge difference between a sugar daddy and a supportive partner.
The delectable actress also pointed out that not all sugar daddies are supportive, adding that there is a difference between being wealthy and giving.
She explained further, “Every single lady needs a supportive partner, not a sugar daddy. Not every sugar daddy has sugar in them. It takes a giver to be generous in giving. Being a wealthy man is different from being a giver. The fact that you have money doesn’t mean you have the heart to give, so I respect ladies that are bold enough to make their relationship with wealthy old men transactional because that’s the only way they can feel good about themselves getting involved with “the gods “ in the name of sugar daddies.”
Speaking about her career as an actress, she revealed that she didn’t start on a good footing as her first role wasn’t a fantastic one and not too encouraging. In fact, according to her, her acting career didn’t take flight until she met Judy Austin, a colleague in the industry.
“My first movie role wasn’t a fanatic role and it wasn’t even encouraging at all. I became more interested in movies and became more passionate about it when I met Judy Austin and working with her has been a blessing in my career,” she said.
“I see Judy Austin as my mentor because of how she has impacted in my career, how she accommodates people with love and respect, how she loves hard, how she appreciates little things, how she’s dedicated to her job and how she interprets her roles. I don’t care about how the world sees her but to me, she’s the best human I have ever come across and that’s why I love her so much,” she added.
Sarah Martins had her secondary education at Owerri Girls’ Secondary School in Imo State. She had her Ordinary National Diploma (OND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) at Ken Saro Wiwa Polytechnic before bagging a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Sarah Martins has etched her name on the Nigerian movie industry landscape and some of the films she has starred in include The Widows, Dangerous Mad Man, The Gods Are Wise, Family Lies, Feast of The Spirits and many more.
