Mainland Invasion, a music, art and culture tour that seeks to celebrate DJs is taking things a notch higher for its third edition with a list of top disk jockeys including DJs Nana, Kaywise, Moonlait, Bella, commissioner Wyse, and Cassper among others with special appearances from Big Brother Naija housemates set to rock and roll Lagos.

The event, which holds today at the Sinatra Lounge, Adeniyi Jones area of Ikeja, is organised by DJ Nana in conjunction with Joel Kantiock for Switch-up Africa. The monthly concert tour has had two successful editions on Victoria Island in December 2019 and Lekki, in January this year.

Speaking about the music tour, the organisers stated the essence of the event is to showcase the artistic DJs in Africa, while providing an engaging platform for greater market opportunity for the entertainment industry.

DJ Nana is one Nigeria’s exceptional young female disc jockey. Born Nanayat Abedoh, the Kogi State native broke into limelight when she won the first ever Airtel/Barcaddi Cool FM DJ Competition in 2011.

Prior to her emergence, she started her career in disc jockeying in 2009 under the tutelage of the legendary Jimmy Adewale Amu popularly known as DJ Jimmy Jatt.

Often described as energy goddess and the vibe of the party, the super talented female disc jockey has gone ahead to garner an impressive profile winning awards and being one of the best female DJs to come out of Nigeria.

In 2016 she was described in the international U.S newspaper, The Daily Times as one of Nigeria’s top female DJs and was also featured on CNN African Voices in 2018.
