‘Moet Party Day’… live in Lagos, Nigeria and around the world

For fun seekers and party loving people in Lagos, Nigeria and around the world, Saturday, June 11, would be the memorable day as the annual edition of the global event ‘Moët Party Day’ kicks off in Nigeria for the first time.

June 11 symbolizes a milestone in savoir-fête history. On that day in 1967, the celebratory champagne spray was born at the 24-hour Le Mans race in France. American driver and winner Dan Gurney did something unexpected when he was handed a Jeroboam bottle of Moët & Chandon champagne on the podium, which he sprayed over the crowd! And in the spirit of that, a joyous new celebration was born.

Speaking about the event, Brand Manager Champagnes at Moet Hennessy Nigeria, Emmanuelle Baroux said, “The ‘Moet Party Day’ is another opportunity to celebrate and enjoy our exclusive range of champagnes around the world. International Director of Marketing and Communications for Moët & Chandon, Arnaud de Saignes, explained that ‘Moët Party Day’ has been tailor-made to share savoir-fête for more than 270 years. “Moët & Chandon creates memorable moments around the world that are about living life to the fullest. The special day comes with a series of parties for over 1000 guests in one day. The all-white party will host a privileged number of people to an amazing brunch at the Hard Rock Café Lagos, courtesy of Moet Ice Imperial. The Brunch will be followed by a private dinner around some select Moet Vintage Champagnes for exclusive guests.

A Moet Nectar Night will then hold at Escape Nightclub, Lagos from 11pm to dawn. It will be a memorable night experience around the theme of pink and glamour, and open to all. There will also be pop up surprises by Moet & Chandon to lovers of the brand at several spots in Lagos.
