HIGH flying rap act Reminisce has released his third solo album titled, Baba Hafusa. The new effort was released at the early hours of Thursday, April 30, at a special edition of the weekly Industry Nite.

The rapper headlined the midweek party, which held at its usual Spice Route venue in Victoria Island, Lagos. The event kicked off as host of the night, Uche Sensei, introduced acts Kida Kudz, K9, and the new artiste from Difference Entertainment, Bad Boy Ace.

Official DJ of the weekly gig, DJ Spinall, set the house agog when he played some of Jay Z’s classic songs in honour of his cousin Briant ‘Bee-High’ Biggs, who was in attendance. Guests went ecstasy when Reminisce stepped on stage to perform some of the songs off his latest album, and some of his old hits.

Reminisce had earlier hinted the release of the album in a post on Instagram, when he wrote: “The wait is over! #BabaHafusa (the album) 30 APR2015.” The new album, Baba Hafusa is a 16-track LP, which features collaborations with a number of artistes including Vector, Ice Prince, Sossick, Phyno, Olamide, Sean Tizzle and Sojay.

He had earlier released two singles, Tesojue, which was released in August 2014, and Local Rappers featuring Phyno and Olamide from the project. The track listing for the new album includes: Grind Ft Sojay, Baba Hafusa, Saida, Skilashii, Gbamilago Ft Sean Tizzle, I Need A Girl, Olomoge, Local Rappers Ft Phyno & Olamide, Tesojue, Alagbara Ft Sossick, Otiya, Kososhi, Busayo Ft Iceprince, Nothing Ft Sojay & Vector, Outro, Let It Be Known (bonus)

The self-acclaimed, Alaga Ibile, brought on stage fellow rappers, Vector, producer/collaborator Sossick and his artiste Sojay to perform with him. Fans of the lyricist were out in full force, scrambled for free copies of the new work he threw to as freebie.
