Pianist and recording artiste, Akinwunmi Odutola, a.k.a. Talkingfingers, has said his recently released double musical projects, Sensation, an album and ‘Reflection’ (EP), seeks to heal the world, promote love and humanity.

Talkingfingers said his music is fused with R&B, Soul, Gospel and Jazz, adding that he seeks to promote love, exploring and bringing emotions to the fore.

“I believe that music does heal people and this is exactly what my recent works portrayed. Beyond the beats, the grooves and the vibes that you will feel in my music, I seek to bring that element of humanity through love and emotions.”

Speaking on his inspiration for the musical projects, the singer/songwriter said it was an expression of his life, dreams and aspirations, adding that the EP is a prayer in love language, while the album expressed his thoughts, emotions and desires.

“We all have certain pictures of the world that we want to live in or what we want our lives to be and that was my reflection on my works.”

Talkingfingers described his music as intellectual and anybody can relate to it. “Although very deep, the language is straightforward and can be accessed by all love loving people. Young and old but mostly the younger, love-seeking and love-loving folks.”

The album features a prolific guitarist, singer and recording artist Adegbenga Adebayo a.k.a Jegzy, while the EP featured a trumpeter and recording artist Michael Awosoga.

According to the producer who has written many musical works, some of which are now featured in movies on the popular streaming platform, Netflix, he contributed musically to two productions by Bolanle Austen-Peters (BAP) on The Bling Lagosians and Collision Course, which are movies now showing on Netflix. Talkingfingers said he wrote and produced Man’s Life and No Level for the movie Collision Course, while on the movie Bling Lagosians, he produced Gimme Love, alongside two other creative, and he produced Loke-Loke, a mid-tempo song by Linda1Nneka.
