Stephen Maiangwa, a student of the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (ABU Zaria) and a freestyle rapper was crowned the winner of the keenly contested Spark 4 Talent Hunt competition held across colleges last week.

After weeks of varying performances from a wide pool of talent, six finalists across campuses from different regions were chosen. Finally, these finalists came together at FCE Akoka for the grand finale to determine who will be crowned champion.

Asides performances from the six finalists, people were randomly picked from the audience to showcase their talents; dancers, rappers and other talents came on stage to showcase their act. These talented students got goody bags, while the winner of the segment got a Spark 4 courtesy HiOS in partnership with Tecno.

Palmplay, who was also a partner, rewarded Kareem Usman, a student of the University of Ilorin after a segment that Palmplay sponsored with a letter of paid internship to the delight of the audience.

Judges included on air personality, Folu Storms, Tecno’s PR Manager, Jesse Oguntimehin, and Boomplay’s MD, Dele Kadiri. To say the judges had their job cut out for them is an understatement, as they had a great array of talents to judge.

Music act, Victor AD took to the stage to thrill the audience even more and was followed up with Slimcase, who shot the fun through the roof, belting out banger after banger to the delight of the crowd.
