Where Are These Pranksters Getting Their Millions?
MAYBE, it is high time the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC looked carefully into the source of wealth of so many pranksters and skit makers, because something is not adding up anymore!

This is not an attempt to disparage the profession of anybody but something should be done about this disturbing issue. Now, look at this scenario.

A youngster starts his career as a prankster, within weeks, he is doing a giveaway of N100,000 (one hundred thousand naira ONLY) to random strangers almost on a daily basis! Some are dashing out cars to strangers who passed the numerous tests they throw out daily and not only that, within a year or two of being a prankster or skit maker, news report will let us know he has bought a house in Lekki or Ajah areas of Lagos and or he will announce to viewers he had bought a luxury car worth 30 million naira!
Haba!

T4T was in the midst of some younger folks recently and the issue came up. There were divergent views. Some defended the pranksters claiming they get paid ‘heavy money’ (was the right phrase T4T’s younger friend used) when people view and comment on their videos. The other explanation for the over night wealth is that companies (such as sports betting coys among others) pay them ‘big money’ to advertise their brands. Really? And that, plus the views’ money’ make them instant millionaires in the space of months?

One was more critical. He said some of them may be fronts for drug dealers and fraudsters who they help ‘clean’ their money.
Well, since there is so much money to be made in pranking and skit making, wetin T4T dey wait for na? Don’t be surprised when you see my debut prank video on this page next week instead of dis one wey I dey write and I never buy house for Lekki or buy Lexus worth 30 million since how many years now…!

Friends, Let’s Join This Nollywood Star To Celebrate
DURING the week, ageless and pretty Nollywood star, Ibinabo Fiberesima had cause to roll out the drums to celebrate, and what a celebration it turned out to be!
T4T was bored and so decided to go snooping on the Social Media handles of some celebrities. He finally landed on the Facebook profile of the former Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN president, Fiberesima, where she posted this message:
“I now have a SIM 5G Network”
At first, T4T was at a loss on why having a 5G-sim network should be a reason to roll out drums in celebration. But then, all these celebrities always have very mundane and most times ridiculous reasons to call for celebration even when their puppy or cat gives birth. It is all part of being a STAR!
Trust Nigerians, as at the time of viewing the post, it had garnered over 400 comments and almost a thousand ‘likes’. Nigerians sha, we nor really get problem atol!
So, ladies and gentlemen, T4T hereby call on you to join IB baby in celebration of her brand new 5G-sim network!

And Mudi Did It…
T4T was rudely woken up from his sleep by the beep of his mobile phone. It was a WhatsApp message and it came very early in the morning.
“As I add another year to my age today, Friday 3rd of March, I need you to put me in mind as you pray to usher in a new day.”
That was from one of Africa’s top celebrity designers, Mudi.
Well, T4T did as he requested and waited for a follow up message revealing the time and place for the birthday bash! Whoosai! That never came! So, obviously, bros Mudi either removed T4T from the birthday party ‘setting’ or he did not celebrate it at all. All the WhatsApp birthday wishes naim bros take do birthday. Na wa o.
God dey sha.

Someone Please Tell Army Authorities This
SOME days before the presidential election, which held on February 25, 2023, soldiers were deployed by the federal government to keep the peace across the country. This has always been the norm at every election, even though one may question the deployment of armed soldiers in an exercise that would produce a leader in a democratic setting. But then, if soldiers nor come out, trust Nigerian politicians, they will turn the supposedly peaceful exercise into a theatre of war.

So, there were soldiers across the country.
But what many Nigerians found distasteful were the videos released by some of the soldiers on election duty, threatening to unleash fire and brimstone on any civilian they deemed to have broken the law. T4T saw more than three of such videos featuring very young soldiers issuing threats on civilians about two days to the election and this had one wondering what the army authorities was doing in the face of such brazen abuse of the force’s ethics.

A video released on the internet on election day which saw some group of soldiers torturing about 20 young men for allegedly committing electoral crimes was nerve racking and not for the faint hearted! Are soldiers supposed to torture civilians suspected of a crime that much or apprehend and hand over to the necessary security agency (agencies) for prosecution? And why would the army authorities keep quiet while their personnel make threat videos against civilians?

If this young crop of soldiers baying for blood of civilians were so tough, why have our military not defeated Boko Haram insurgents all these years and end their war of terror on innocent Nigerians? T4T hereby suggests to the army authorities to fish out these ‘tough’ soldiers and send them to the frontline since they are hungry for action after perhaps staying idle for too long in the barracks!
Na for bodi of unarmed civilians naim dem for get power!
