Popular On Air Personality (OAP), Toke Makinwa, has confessed in her newly released book that she tried becoming like her rival, Anita, to keep her hubby, Maje Ayida close to her heart before their marriage crumbled like badly arraigned cards.

Toke said: “I tried to talk to him… a deep conversation in the dark, where we could bare our souls to each other. I asked why he wouldn’t let Anita go? What was it about her?

“With tears in my eyes and desperate to save my home, I was willing to learn, to become like her if that was what he wanted.

“If it was the sex, I asked him to teach me her moves. If it was her character, I wanted to know, so I become what he saw in her.

“I was drained; I had no pride in that moment. I begged him to give us a chance.”

The marriage hit the rocks in June last year when news broke that Maje had impregnated his ex-lover, Anita Solomon, who eventually gave birth to a baby boy the following month in the United Kingdom (UK).

Toke, after the crisis on March 9, this year, through her lawyers, sought an official dissolution of the marriage, citing adultery, cruelty and irreconcilable differences.
