Talented actress and filmmaker, Ufuoma McDermott, has offered her latest movie, What Just Happened, to moviegoers to see.

The movie, which parades an array of talented actors and comedians opened yesterday, Friday, September 14 and would continue to run in all cinemas nationwide.

Those who have seen the movie said it is yet another piece from the talented actress and filmmaker, who late last year offered Christmas is Coming to public viewing.

With Ufuoma playing the lead role, What Just Happened features actors, such as Afeez Oyetoro, Segun Arinze, Toyin Abraham, Mc Abbey, Funny Bone and Mike Ezuruonye.

The movie tells the story of a disgruntled professor, who, in search of a man, takes up her brother’s offer for the position of a visiting lecturer at the University of Ibadan.

So, what should have been a one-hour journey from Lagos to Ibadan ends up being a disaster.

Ufuoma whose journey into Nollywood began in Zeb Ejiro’s 2004 movie, The President Must Not Die, has since become one of the notable personalities in the industry and has proven herself as not just an extraordinary actress, but a talented producer and director.

At an earlier pre-screening press parley, Ufuoma expressed gratitude to the media and fans for all the support they have showed her each time she brings out a new project.

“I feel blessed for all the love I get from people and even the media each time I announce a new project.

“What Just Happened is my new baby and I trust that the support will not be any different this time. I want everyone to come out to see the movie from Friday.

“I am certain that it will be worth your while,” she added.
