The Waka About Africa 2018 Conference has been slated for November 28, 2018, at the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority NCAA, in Lagos. The event, which would be far reaching, is the brainchild of Waka About Africa publication.

The conference, which has as its theme: Deploying ICT To Expand Financial Inclusion: Prospects and Challenges is poised to bring together experts from different fields of human endeavour, in short movers and shakers including professionals and stakeholders in the ICT, Finance, Tourism & Culture sectors under one roof to compare notes and share other experiences.

It is expected that Managing Directors/Chief Executive Officers of banks, and their counterparts in telecoms, Directors General of government agencies, captains of industries, ambassadors and cultural attaches of foreign missions in Nigeria, royal fathers, as well as tourism & culture investors and enthusiasts.

In a statement issued by the Publisher/Editor-In-Chief of the paper Chinyere Nwanma Ogidi, she said the participants will also use the event to interact meaningfully and which would bring about deep relationships between them and thus open vista in diverse sectors and their reputation in sincere and spirited move to truly and practically expanding the frontiers Nigeria’s economy.

She stressed that wide range of activities including corporate exhibition, an elaborate conference session, panel of discussions and networking segments are planned for the day. There will also be entertainments segments involving cultural displays, and showpiece of investment potentials in the sector.

The Keynote Speaker at the conference is Prof. Umar Danbatta, Executive Vice Chairman, Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), while Dr. Ferdinand Anikwe, President, Pan African Cultural Congress Bureau, will chair the event, with Alhaji Lai Mohammed, Minister of Information & Culture as the Special Guest of Honour.
