The Expo hall of the Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, was the place to be last on February 14, as fun loving Lagosians converged at the upscale venue for MTN Valentine Rave Party. The night of fun featured notable DJs, who treated the audience with both local and international hits. Indeed, it was a ballet of the DJs, as they combat for supremacy on the wheel of steel, to the admiration of guests.

Organised to mark this year’s St. Valentine’s Day, the groove featured six of Nigeria’s most sought-after DJs, including Jimmy Jatt, DJ Neptune, Sose, Big N, Obi and Lambo, the only female DJ. Altogether, these creative hands rendered the greatest collection and mixture of sounds and music in celebration of lover’s day.

The DJs’ session was a fascinating one, as they took turns to entertain guests, with each doing the best to win the audience. Most fascinating was the inspiring female DJ Lambo, who challenged DJ Jimmy Jatt, Neptune, Sose, Big N and Obi as she kept guests dancing all through the night. It was a tight contest as they all showed why they are among the few best DJs in this part of the World.

Excited guests, who spoke at the event commended the telecommunication company for creative a platform for loyal customers to have fun and celebrate love.

“It’s a great show”, Taiwo Adeniyi noted. “The DJs are amazingly excellent, especially as they take turns in keeping the show lively all through the night. I must confess, this is my best Valentine’s party ever. I must say a big thank you to MTN for throwing its support with other brands to make this event come to live”, he said.

Notable among guests at the event are Kenny Ogungbe, Austin Jay-Jay Okocha as well as leading Nigerian musicians such as Chidinma and Tiwa Sawage.
