From sponsoring mega music concerts and awards to celebrating individuals, especially youths with distinct leadership, Lord’s Dry Gin, a flagship brand from Nigeria Distilleries Limited, Ota, Ogun State, has announced ex-Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) housemate and rising sensation, Tobi Bakare, as its first brand ambassador.

According to the Marketing Manager of the company, Mridul Sharma, the choice of the ex-BBNaija star was hinged on personality and being an inspiration to millions of people, especially youths, who are motivated by his drive to be different.

“We are happy to have Tobi onboard. His dedication and commitment, as well as his positive attitude have contributed to the growth and success he has achieved so far. His work ethic, confidence and dedication are attributes which are greatly encouraged by our brand,” Sharma said.

The manager noted that the second runner-up in the 2018 Big Brother Naija TV reality show, has distinguished himself as a maverick with his commitment to personal and professional goals, which are in line with the brand’s mission to recognise and celebrate individuals who make a positive impact locally and globally.

The elated former banker could not suppress his excitement, as he told The Guardian, “I am thrilled to be given the chance to be a source of inspiration while representing one of Nigeria’s prestigious brands. This is such a great opportunity to inspire the rise of individual achievement and I am proud to champion this movement.”
