In the ever-evolving Nigerian music scene, new talents are constantly breaking new bounds and infusing the industry with fresh sounds and innovate creatively. Among these rising stars is Opaluwa King Solomon better known by the stage name, Khingsolo.

Beyond being a musician, Khingsolo is a multifaceted entertainer and entrepreneur, who artfully merges his love for music with his skills as a programmer and engineer. He is set to make waves latest single, Temper.

Originally from Kogi State, the Lagos-based artiste’s musical journey has been fueled by a lifelong passion for sound that began in the early 2000s. His genre of music is a blend of rhythm, soul and meaningful storytelling, inspired by his humble beginnings and his aspirations to reach the pinnacle of stardom.

Reflecting on his musical path, Khingsolo said, “my love for music has always been there, but the push to create came much earlier. I started pursuing it seriously in 2022, and since then, my goal has been to ensure my voice is heard.”

Describing his sound, he added, “it has a soul of its own; it’s a blend of message and rhythm that compels you to dance or lose yourself in a trance. What truly sets me apart is the life I infuse into each beat.”

In Nigeria’s fiercely competitive music industry, Khingsolo recognises the challenge of making a mark, yet he remains resolute. “To be heard is significant, but I’ve committed to staying true to my originality and consistency. Authenticity is key, no matter the pressures around me.”

He noted that collaboration is essential to his artistic journey, hence he’s open to working with a diverse range of artistes, and one name stands out – Olamide. “I’ve always admired his versatility and determination. I began as a rapper, and many have compared my style to his. But my desire to collaborate stems from a wish to learn from his experience and tap into his wisdom.”

Poised to carve out his space in the music industry, Khingsolo views commercial success as an opportunity, not a compromise.
“From day one, I promised myself that every new track would surpass the last. For me, perfection is an ever-evolving journey in my craft,” he said exuding charisma.

Looking ahead, the music star envisions a luminous future both for himself and his music. In five years, he dreams of his songs becoming household anthems, celebrated worldwide. “I see myself shutting down arenas, selling out shows, and living the rock star life, while proving that dreams really can come to fruition,” he said with unwavering conviction.
