Oshiomole Endorses Dream Alive With Pikolo
As the preparation of this year’s edition of Dream Alive With Pikolo gather momentum, organisers of the event are ready to host the talents hunt as auditions for season three ends September 27, 2015.
Although, it’s no longer news that Eromosele Daniel Pikolo, an aide to the Edo State governor, Adams Oshiomole, took it upon himself to embarked on this yearly talent discovery that is aimed among other things to identify and groom talents among the teeming youths in the state, fostering significant broader participation in the entertainment business, raise role model in the industry, and leverage on the entertainment as a visible platform for promoting and sustaining peace among youths.
According to Pikolo, who is the Senior Special Adviser to the Governor on Culture and Tourism, said the project is aimed at augmenting the developmental strides of the governor. “This talent hunts cuts across music, dance and comedy.
The overall winner in the contest will be awarded a cash prize and a production deal, while there are consolation prizes for the first and second runner-up (2nd and 3rd place winners) accordingly. He commended the governor for creating an atmosphere that foster entertainment in the State.
