It is no news that wonder kid artiste, Oziomachukwu Favour Mojekwu with stage name OzzyBee but better known as OzzyBosco, is a life-changing agent to his generation.

The good news, however, is his bold and courageous steps in changing the narrative when it comes to the lifestyle of the less privileged, particularly children.

With his non-governmental organisation, OzzyBosco Smile Foundation (OSF), the multi-talented young act fulfilled his heart desire of sponsoring Access Bank Early Savers Account for 14 children between the ages of 3 to 17 years, comprising his fans who won the ‘OzzyBee Valentine Giveaway Quiz’.

Tagged Ozzybee’s Young Savers (OYS) Initiative, the package, which is structured to be a continuous to one with the support of Access Bank Plc., according to OzzyBee, included beneficiaries from orphanage and autistic homes in Lagos. He added that the major aim of the project is to put smiles on faces while sensitizing both parents and children to embrace the culture of early savings for the young ones.

“The whole idea of this initiative is to encourage young people to cultivate the culture of ‘early savings’ in life, as that would help in developing that child into a prudent adult who would be financially responsible in his/her approach to life Such child is most likely to be an asset and not a liability to the family or society at large,” OzzyBee said.

“The challenges here may be: Where would these children get their first funding to open an account? How would they cope with the procedure and strict requirements of opening a bank account, bearing in mind that some of them have never visited a banking hall before?” he queried.

The NDLEA young celebrity ambassador further stated that OSF will continue to contribute towards the growth of the account until the beneficiaries attains the stipulated age of harvesting. The exercise, which was quite phenomenal, elicited amazing emotions from parents of the children, bank officials and passerby, who could not believe that such vision by a 13-year-old teenager is possible.

As a young Nigerian artiste with huge fan base, OzzyBee sees all his humanitarian projects as a way of giving back to the society. This include, Stop Child Cruelty, a project that has taken him among other initiatives to Zaria in Kaduna State, where he put smile on face of then four year old Usman Sadiq, whose eyes were brutally plucked by ritualists.

No Suicide Africa is another of his campaign instituted to lend his voice to the worldwide call against suicide especially among young people. His maiden album titled Journey Of Life was launched at the Sheraton Lagos Hotel, Ikeja on October 6, 2019.
