Rally Jay Preaches Peace InPredominance
Fast-rising singer, Adjarho Oghenevwirhe Austin, professionally known as Rally Jay, is stretching his discography within the Nigerian music scene with a very didactic tape dubbed, Predominance. The EP, which is scheduled to be out in the coming days, reflects Jay’s poignant penmanship.
The talented Delta State musician told Weekend Beats about the tape, revealing that his impact is to preach peace and happiness with it.
“When you listen to my music, I send a message of hope, I preach peace and happiness. I love Jaiye (enjoyment), so I try to express the thought that it’s good to be happy regardless of your situation,” he said.
Speaking on how he ventured into music and his genre, he said, “I have been doing music since 2003 when I was in secondary school, actually I started with Rapping and later love singing. I will say my genre is Fusion, I said that because I try to infuse a little bit of everything into my song. So, when you hear my song, it might sound like there’s Fuji, Afro-pop and some RnB.”
He also shared that his knack for impact building is a major reason he has a dream of working with Davido on a song.
“I would love to work with Davido because of his impact not only on African music, but also his impact on society,” he said.
