STREET banger, Werey Re singer, Baseone, has waded into the beef between the Headies 2015 Rookie of Year and Vector, urged him to accord respect to the King Kong rapper and desist from beef at this early point of his career.

“I think Ycee and Vector beef was not called for. I don’t really understand what really transpired between both of them. Vector is someone you have to respect, you are just starting out, so don’t think beef,” he said.

Baseone also warned any artiste that might want to diss him on their track, saying that he is not to be toyed with. Following the ongoing success of his well received, Werey Re, the lyrical indigenous Nigerian hip-hop act, is not holding back on his mission to capture the music industry with his crazy metaphors and unique sound.

Teaming up once again with his long-time friend and producer, Xblaze, BaseOne have released another intriguing single Wondering, a thought-provoking jam which is bound to resonate deeply with listeners, as the song keeps you spellbound from start to finish.

The Yoruba boom bap single is arguably the first of its kind in Nigeria with the outstanding blend of Yoruba flows (one of Nigeria’s distinct languages) on the classic boom bap Hip-hop style, which was made popular by American producers such as DJ Premier, Pete Rock, KRS-One back in the 80s and 90s and now in 2015, the style has been creatively re-captured by the talented Nigerian producer, Xblaze and remarkably delivered by BaseOne.

Meanwhile, the Jagaban singer, Ycee, who is currently in the United Kingdom, has enlisted the services of the brilliant Director Q to shoot the visual for the E-Kelly produced Omo Alhaji. The Tinny Entertainment artiste took time from his UK tour to shoot the music video for his rave of the moment single.
