Sounds of Naija, as Lagos, Abuja party in grand style with grand Cru


It was indeed a unique expression of celebration, fun and entertainment, as influencers, special guests and lovers of good music, food and well blended wine were hosted to a grand reception of culinary exploration, elegant décor and huge celebration at The Vue, Novare Mall, Abuja and Sky Restaurant, Eko Hotel, Lagos respectively.

Hosted by Glenfiddich, Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, the party saw renowned chef, Chef Fregz, treat guests in Lagos to exquisite food pairings a masterclass where they were taught how to make unique dishes with the whisky.

Both nights started with the host, Eso Okolocha, a lawyer, rapper, On-Air Personality and actor, giving a detailed description of the brand. This was followed by phenomenal entertainment from eclectic performers.

Speaking at the Lagos launch, the brand’s Brand Ambassador to Scotland, Mark Thompson took guests down memory lane with a brief history. He noted that the brand is the world’s most awarded single malt whisky.

According to him, the Grand Cru is first matured for 23 years in handpicked American and European oak casks and elegantly finished in rare French Cuvee casks. It is an exclusive blend of the most exquisite flavours from Scotland and France.
