This exclusive couple’s dinner, slated for lover’s day, February 14, aims to create an enchanting evening of connection, joy and revitalisation of couple’s love and devotion to each other. With a vision to foster stronger bonds among couples, inspire the celebration of love and create an annual tradition where relationships are rekindled and cherished; the event will provide a platform for couples to reconnect, celebrate and strengthen their relationships through a carefully curated experience that blends elegance, entertainment and heartfelt moments.
Speaking with The Guardian at a press briefing in Lagos to herald the event, the convener Spice It Up, Olori Aderonke Omolola Erinle, said life’s struggles and day to day living often makes couples forget that they have to be intentional about their marriages. “Our goal is to help rekindle relationships and we’re doing this with an intimate night at an enchanting venue in Ikeja, Lagos on Valentines Day. It will feature fine dining, captivating entertainment, soulful music, inspiring conversations and a warm environment.”

Erinle, who is also the creative director, QR luxury events, QR Signature and the Olori Aderonke Omolola Erinle (OAOE) Foundation, revealed that proceeds from the event would be channeled to the foundation which caters to the wellbeing of the aged. Calling for support to help those that really need it, the marriage counsellor with a passion to see marriages blossom, said the event goes beyond just having a good time or making profit as all proceeds would go into the foundation’s purse, which she said has been existing for about two decades.
She revealed that last year’s edition was impressive but intends to make this year’s own bigger and better and are looking to triple the number of attendees. “There would be a number of dignitaries present and seasoned marriage experts to speak to couples. The theme, Gratitude & Forgiveness, would definitely deliver more value than what was paid for.”
She said it is open to everyone, married, dating or in long term relationships. “There are three categories, gold, silver and bronze categories and the pricing is definitely reasonable. It would be an unforgettable evening,” she vowed.
