After mesmerising Nigerians with their inspiring performances at the just concluded Homecoming Festival in Lagos, British rappers, Tion Wayne and Ardee, teamed up with ace Nigerian producer, Louddaa, to create a now-viral freestyle dubbed, 24 Hours In Lagos.
The record, which was created in a day, also interestingly samples Lagbaja’s 2000 mega hit, Konko Below. Tion Wayne, who is also half Nigerian, lays up a vibrant ode to the megacity Lagos while Ardee, who is already famous for extolling the beauty of Nigerian women within his music, finishes up with his infectious and fast-paced raps.
It was gathered that Wayne and Ardee recorded the freestyle in one hour, laying their verses down at Tion’s hotel before heading into the Lagos night to film the visuals.
