Yesterday marked a new beginning in Nigeria’s political journey with the swearing-in of Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the new president of the country.

At the peak of campaign, President Buhari, and his party, the APC promised Nigerians of drastic change if elected. Now they have not only been elected, they have been sworn-in yesterday.

Nigerians had fulfilled their obligations by voting en masse for Buhari and his party. So in the next four years, the ball will be in the court of Buhari and his team to drive the much touted and expected “change’ to the expectation or disappointment of Nigerians.
