The SUG President reiterated that the executive would sublimate youthful exuberance and student power for the progress and development of the nation, assuring the student of SUG’s commitment to their welfare and well-being.

He called on all the contestants who lost the June 29 student election to work with the executive to actualize the 26 per cent fund for education in the country, as recommended by UNESCO.

The Vice President (National Affairs), National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Ayenuro Timileyin, applauded the Provost for the E-voting initiative, which has engendered the N600 million manufacturing company with its attendant benefits for the students.

Ayenuro said he was moved with passion for the ICT-drive and vision of the school authority, which as planned, would make the students to stand shoulder high among their peers anywhere in the world.

He tasked other institutions across the country to emulate the visions and dreams of the school management to cause a viable evolution in the nation’s science and technology drive, and for the betterment of the students and the society at large.

The JJC leader advocated the need for an alumnus of any institution in Nigeria to occupy the highest helm of affairs in any Nigerian tertiary institutions, reiterating that such administrator would feel the pulse of the students better than strangers, who never had any sense of belonging.
