3SC apologise over 0-6 defeat by Kano Pillars
The management of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) has apologised to the side’s supporters for the heavy defeat at former Nigerian champions, Kano Pillars, reports supersport.com.
The Oluyole Warriors lost 0-6 to the Pyramid City side in Sunday’s Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) matchday 13 clash at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano.
An official of the Ibadan landlords, Jubril Arowolo, said the side have pushed the sad defeat behind them to focus on launching themselves back to reckoning in the ongoing top flight.
“It was really a bad day for us but we cannot continue to rue the loss as no amount of regrets will undo the painful result.
“We feel the deed has been done we must head straight to the trenches to fight back toward returning to winning way again.
“We are deeply sorry mostly to our teeming supporters who strongly believe in us and must have been disappointed by the shocking result.
“We have to quickly come up with modalities to make up for the defeat and avert further occurrence in the ongoing league.
“We need the supporters understanding now more than ever to help us to quickly overcome the trying moment.
“The defeat at Kano Pillars is one of the matches on the season’s calendar there are more matches to be played, we never expected what happened in Kano we just want to say we are deeply sorry.
