Aiteo, First Bank lead corporate support for South West Games

Oil and gas outfit, Aiteo as well as top players in the banking sector, including First Bank and the United Bank for Africa (UBA), have signed for the maiden South-West Games, which, according to the organisers, will empower the youths and aid the country’s rapid sports development.
The South-West Games 2025 is a game-changing initiative poised to unearth exceptional talents and drive sustainable socio-economic transformation in the region.
With enormous corporate support for the games, the organisers say that they are poised to redefine the country’s sports landscape. Speaking on the latest development, the president of the Organising Committee, Akogun Lanre Alfred, stated that the endorsement signals a strong corporate commitment to the development of sports as a vehicle for social and economic advancement.
Alfred emphasized the profound impact of this support, stating, “With corporate giants such as AITEO, First Bank, UBA, and OldEnglish Bakery, rallying behind this initiative, the South West Games 2025 is set to reshape the landscape of Nigerian sports.
