Battle For Shirt In Eagles’ Camp



Chibuzor Okonkwo battles Lionel Messi at Beijing 2008 Olympics Games. Okonkwo is back to fight for shirt in the Super Eagles aheads Rio 2016.

The Super Eagles yesterday morning in Abuja began preparations for the 2017 AFCON qualifiers against Chad. A good number of the invited home based players arrived at the Bolton White Hotels and Apartments in Abuja on Thursday, ready to begin the healthy battle for shirts in the Super Eagles.

Coach Stephen Keshi urged the players to show hunger, commitment and discipline, while justifying their invitation to the national team.

Players in camp included Chibuzor Okonkwo, Rabiu Ali, Nelson Ogbonnaya, Mfon Udoh, Ezekiel Mbah, Gabriel Okechukwu, Azeez Shobowale, Moses Ebong, Chima Akas, Nathaniel Joseph, Chinedu Udoji, Chidiebere Eze, Olabisi Samuel, Esosa Igbinoba, Joe Omale, Onyedikachi Bright and Idris Aloma.

Others are Ibrahim Shuaibu, Kunle Odunlami, Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Tunde Adeniji.
