Chibueze nets first Superliga brace for Vëllaznimi

Nigerian forward Odi Chibueze announced himself in style on Matchday 30 of the Kosovo Superliga by scoring a sensational brace for KF Vëllaznimi Gjakovë in a 2–0 win over KF Vllaznia Pozheran.

The teenage striker delivered a clinical performance, netting both goals for his side in what was arguably his most commanding display since arriving in Kosovo. His first came in the opening half, as he powered through the opposition defence with a clever solo run before calmly finishing beyond the goalkeeper to give Vëllaznimi a 1–0 lead.

Chibueze wasn’t done yet. In the second half, he pounced on a defensive error just outside the box, showing great composure to double his tally and seal all three points for the hosts. The brace brought his season tally to two goals, both coming in this decisive fixture – a statement performance from a player tipped for bigger things.

The win lifted Vëllaznimi’s spirits in their final stretch of the season and confirmed Chibueze’s rising status as one of the league’s youngest and most exciting prospects.

Club officials were full of praise after the match. The head coach of KF Vëllaznimi said, “Odi has been working hard behind the scenes, and today we saw the result. He showed maturity, composure, and a real striker’s instinct. We’re proud of him.”

Chibueze, who only joined the club earlier in the season, has been quietly adapting to life in European football. This brace not only highlights his potential but also underlines the importance of nurturing African talent on platforms that give them meaningful playing time.

With this breakout performance, OdiChibueze has given Vëllaznimi fans a glimpse of what may be a very bright future. Scouts and observers across the region will surely begin to take notice.
