GoldenEaglets trounce FOSLA Academy 4-0
Nigeria’s U-17 side, Golden Eaglets has defeated FOSLA Football Academy 4-0 in a friendly match played at the NFF\FIFA Goal Project Pitch in Abuja.
FOSLA Academy is owned by Alhaji Sani Lulu Abdullahi, a former President of the Nigeria Football Federation.
Eaglets’ captain Kelechi Nwakali scored a first half brace with a clinical finish in the 10th minute and followed with a well-struck free kick from the edge of the box five minutes later. Midfielder David Enogela grabbed the third goal with a lively shot after a through pass from Nwakali.
On the other end, FOSLA’s Mustapha Kehinde saw his free kick miss target by the whiskers in the 34th minute. In the 40th minute, Emeka Ebere scored Eaglets’ fourth goal when he cleverly evaded his marker before slotting the ball behind goalkeeper Abddulazeez Yusuf.
