Julius Berger Nigeria Plc’s yearly sports tournament, a flagship employee engagement initiative that brought together staff and subsidiaries in a spirit of unity, sportsmanship, and healthy competition, ended in grand style with athletes excelling in various disciplines.

The keenly contested tournament featured a variety of games including football, volleyball, chess, snooker, table tennis, and scrabble, all aimed at promoting teamwork, employee wellness, and corporate bonding.

In the opening football match, the Julius Berger Headquarters Team defeated Plant and Equipment Department with a thrilling 3–2 victory, while AFP claimed victory over ABUMET in the second match.

In a statement at the closing ceremony, the management commended all participants for their passion, discipline, and sportsmanship, emphasising that the annual tournament embodies Julius Berger’s commitment to fostering collaboration, excellence, and well-being among its workforce.

The tournament reached an exciting conclusion with the presentation of cash prizes and recognition awards to outstanding performers and winning teams across multiple categories.

Sports contested in were, snooker, table tennis, scrabble, volleyball and football among others.
