Leading insurance company, Leadway Assurance Company and the organisers of the highly anticipated Cycling Lagos 2018 have signed a bond pact that will cover over 1000 participants in the forthcoming Cycling event.

The signing ceremony and other support was held at the company’s office in Lagos, and makes the firm the official insurance partner for the event.

Chairman Cycling Lagos, Mr. Soji Adeleye described the insurance cover for the cyclists as very significant one, which would further enhance the international statues of the event.

“We are committed to organizing a cycling event that will meet the international standard which makes the partnership with Leadway Assurance, leading insurance company in Nigeria very important to the success of this unique event,” he said.

Head Corporate Communications, Leadway Assurance Company, Mrs. Olubunmi Adeleye, expressed the commitment of the brand in ensuring a hitch-free event.

She said the organisation would continue to support relevant platforms that would impact positively on the well being of Nigerians, particularly its numerous customers in the country.

MultiChoice, owner of DStv, a sub-Saharan African direct broadcast satellite service recently confirmed its partnership with the cycling event with the plan to broadcast it to its over 11.9 million subscribers across Africa.
