New hall college qualifies for 2024 NFL flag football championship
The Nigeria America Football Association (NAFA), on Thursday, disclosed that New Hall International College, Lekki, Lagos, has qualified to represent Nigeria at the 2024 NFL Flag Football Pro Bowl Championship, which will hold in Orlando, Florida, United States, February, next year.
The school picked the ticket following its 20-0 victory over Victorroti College, Abeokuta, in the final of the U-12 category of the COED Flag Football Championship.
To reach the final, New Hall School defeated Green Springs College 26 -0 in the Lagos State qualifiers.The NFL Flag Football Pro Bowl, billed to hold in the U.S., is a combined male and female team championship featuring 10 players with a minimum of two girls and eight boys.
Speaking after the final game, Nigerian American Football Association (NAFA) President, Babajide Akeredolu, promised to give New Hall College the best preparation for the championship.
“New Hall College has already started preparations for the American Championship. They will be training regularly from now till the championship kicks off next year,” he said.
