The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has called on football loving Nigerians to support the National U-23 team with prayers so as to do the nation proud in the on-going Rio Olympic Games.

Secretary General of the NFF, Mohammed Sanusi, said yesterday that the encouragement would go a long way in assisting the coach Samson Siasia tutored side to emerge victorious in Brazil.

Sanusi stated that the performance of the Dream Team in the group games was enough justification that the team is ready to conquer any opponent who comes their way in Rio.

He noted that the federation would give support to Siasia and the players in every capacity.

The NFF scribe explained that the Dream Team’s determination to succeed in Rio is a reflection that the players where ready to give their best to revive the wining spirit of Nigeria teams whenever they are on international assignment.

’The Dream Team have what it takes to win the Olympics football event if the players continue to give their best in the second round. They need the prayer and support of every Nigerians to succeed in Rio. On our part, the NFF will fashion out ways to give more support to the team. They will surely succeed in Brazil,” he said.
