Northern Consortium of UK universities set to host football tourney in Lagos

THE Northern Consortium of UK universities (NCUK) supported by Oxbridge Tutorial College- Nigeria’s first and leading sixth form college, and the Ivory Health Club, is set to host the maiden edition of its annual football tournament.

The competition, which is open to male football teams of high profile secondary schools and sixth form colleges in Lagos State, will kick off on Saturday, 27 February, at the Supreme Education Foundation (SEF) football field, Magodo GRA, Lagos.

According to the Managing Director of Oxbridge Tutorial College, Dr. Femi Ogunsanya, The aim of the football tournament was to promote sports development among the youth and enhance physical fitness and wellness.

She added that the occasion would provide a veritable platform for the youth to network while leveraging on sports to promote education.
