Pizza banned as Guardiola lays down the law at Man City
Entering his first season at the helm of Manchester City, Pep Guardiola has let his players know that they will not be allowed to eat pizza in the dressing room.
The presence of fast food used to be popular during predecessor Manuel Pellegrini’s three-year tenure.
However, the Catalan coach wants to create a positive environment amongst his squad, and as a result the players will be forced to eat together after matches at the Etihad Stadium, according to The Sun.
The ex-Bayern Munich coach aims to have full control over a team that reached the Champions League semi-final for the first time in club history last season.
Owner Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan expects Guardiola to bring his team to new heights both domestically and internationally.
The Citizens will be looking to win a third domestic league title in five years as they kick off the new season at home to Sunderland on August 13.
