Polygon Sports, Nigeria’s No.1 Sportswear Brand Launches Youth Initiative

PolygonFOR the first time ever, a Nigerian Sportswear has launched a youth initiative that will help increase visibility around grassroots sports.

Polygon Sports Ltd was incorporated in 2010 and has risen rapidly to become, Nigeria’s No.1 Sportswear brand. The brand has built itself around a model of creativity in everything they do from planning to execution, but most importantly affordability. Talented athletes, sports fanatics now have a reason to be proud of a brand made in Nigeria that is for them.

The recently launched initiative, Polygon Sports All-Star and Cadet programme, has been designed to identify talent and reward them commercially through bespoke sportswear. Talented athletes in the Western parts of the world tend to have dedicated commercial and institutional support with advertising brands endorsing them so that they too can become household names. Unfortunately, this hasn’t necessarily been the case in Nigeria, but with this new initiative launched by Polygon Sports, Nigeria will surely see more athletes supported domestically as well as globally.

Dreamfoot Academy in Makurdi (North West) and Ablaze Football Academy (South-South) of Nigeria have already partnered up with Polygon Sports for this initiative and for the provision of sportswear and equipment.

“As Nigeria’s No.1 sportswear brand, we don’t rest on our laurels. We are dedicated to grassroots, youth and elite sports. Our partnership with academies, schools and other sports establishments demonstrates our approach to ensuring the next generation will be on the same playing field as the rest of the world,” said Mr. Ifeanyi Asiodu, Co-founder / Head of Marketing & Media”.
