Rugby: African Best Bouncer of the Year award excites ‘Big Sunny’

Nigerian national team rugby player Sunday Bassey aka Big Sunny,has described his recent award as the African Best Bouncer of the Year as a dream come true.

In an exclusive interview with The Guardian following the award announcement on Sunday, Big Sunny expressed his gratitude for being recognized among several contenders. He emphasized that such recognition will inspire other rugby players across the continent.

The CEO & founder of BIG SUNNY unit Security Service, Nigeria Limited also emerged as the Best Protocol Service of the Year at the Mixkid Golden Record International Award Night.

“It’s a big dream come true for me as a cowrie rugby player and African Best Bouncer of the Yea.

“I dedicate this award to almighty God and secondly to all the orphans and all the widows in Africa for making me the African Best Bouncer of the Year and the Best Protocol Service of the Year at the Mixkid Golden Record International Award Night,

“Big Sunny then charges the sports ministry to endorse Rubgy as one of the sporting events in the upcoming Nation Festival saying: I wish rugby will be one of the events of National Sports Festival so that grassroots players will understand the game of rugby because rugby is love, respect and discipline, God bless Nigeria.”
