Sanchez is top Real Madrid target, Arsenal want Benzema swap deal

Arsenal are refusing to sell to a Premier League rival. Don Balon reckon Arsene Wenger could entertain selling Sanchez to Real - but only if he’s given Karim Benzema in return.

Arsenal star, Alexis Sanchez has emerged as a top target for Real Madrid, according to shock Spanish reports. Media outlet, Don Balon say Real are keen on the Chile international, who’s just entered the final year of his current Arsenal contract.

Sanchez is also being tracked by Manchester City. However, Arsenal are refusing to sell to a Premier League rival. Don Balon reckon Arsene Wenger could entertain selling Sanchez to Real – but only if he’s given Karim Benzema in return.

Real were desperate to sign Kylian Mbappe from Monaco. But Paris St-Germain have now entered the fray and Zinedine Zidane looks set to seek alternative options.

However, in another twist to the transfer saga, Don Balon say PSG could swoop for Sanchez if they also fail to sign Mbappe. Former Premier League star, Stan Collymore accused Sanchez of angling for a transfer in his Sunday People column.

He wrote: “Some Arsenal supporters seem happy to say, ‘Alexis Sanchez is a great guy, he’s a model pro’ but I am sorry, he is not.”
