
The SFFL Showtime Coed Flag Football League’s special pre-session training for existing players, which will also be used to introduce new athletes to the game will begin today, the organisers have said.
According to the SFFL Showtime Coed Flag Football League’s commissioner, Adejumo Adebare, the pre-season training, tagged ‘Showtime Sunday,’ which will run for three Sundays, today, August 6 and 13, will hold at Meadow Hall School, Alma Beach Estate, Elegushi, Lekki, with over 10 teams.
Adebare said the pre-season training will help develop more players at the grassroots and also create flag football awareness for fans expected at the event.
He said the event would create an enabling environment for players to participate in special training sessions and also help the athletes to share valuable experience and contacts that would uplift the sport in Nigeria.
“The new season kicks off officially on September 24 and runs through every Sunday from10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. at Meadow Hall School, Alma Beach Estate, Elegushi Bus Stop, Sure 2 Odds Lekki with over 10 teams.
“The league holds every Sunday as it will give players opportunity players and enough time to participate in the games despite their busy schedule.
“Flag football, a dynamic variant of the traditional American Football, is taking the athletic world by storm. Stripping away the physicality of tackles, this fast-paced game revolves around agility, betting tips 1×2 strategy and precision. Flag football has opened doors to a wider audience, breaking gender barriers and welcoming players of all backgrounds.

According to Adebare, SFFL Showtime provides a platform where men and women athletes compete side by side, bet prediction fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
