Six US Based Players Set To Join D’Tigress Camp

Six America based Nigerian female basketball players, including team captain, Helen Ogundimi, are expected to join D’Tigress camp in Abuja tomorrow to fine tune preparations for the 11th All Africa Games billed for Congo next month.

According to the media officer of the team, Akin Bolariwa, eleven domestic based players have been in camp.

He stated that the D’ Tigress would excel at the Games owing to their level of preparation and commitment displayed in training.

He said: “NBBF have also given the team the necessary assistance to make Nigerians proud in Congo. We will be departing with Team Nigeria contingent first week of September. ’’
