“I don’t think they can win the title, but I think they should aim for top four,” Redknapp said on Super Sunday.
“I just don’t think they’re good enough and there are much better teams. Without taking anything away from what they’re doing here because it’s fantastic, but I don’t think they’re ready to win the league yet. They’ll have good spells with these young players and they’ll have dips in form, but they can definitely make the top four.
“Next week against Chelsea will be a big game for them against and if they win, they’ll go 13 points ahead of them (Chelsea) and that almost puts Chelsea to bed in terms of getting into the top four.
“So I just think at the moment, they should set realistic standards but they don’t get in the top four every year here, its not happened for many years. They’ve got to try and get into the top four, establish themselves as a top four club again if they can do that then it’s great.”
