Super Eagles invitee Tella on target as Leverkusen go 10 points clear of Bayern

Nathan Tella was on target for Bayer Leverkusen in their 2-0 home win against 10-man Wolfsburg, in the German Bundesliga on Sunday.

The win took Leverkusen (on 67 points) 10 points clear of Bayern Munich in the league table.

Also, Leverkusen are yet to taste defeat in all competitions this season.

Tella has now scored five goals in 16 league games this season for Xabi Alonso men.

Wolfsburg were reduced to 10 men after Moritz Jenz received his second yellow card on 28 minutes.

Leverkusen took advantage of the sending off and went 1-0 up thanks to Tella on 37 minutes.

In the 86th minute Leverkusen doubled their lead through Florian Wirtz.

Tella was listed in the Super Eagles 27-man squad for this month friendly games against Ghana and Mali in Marrakech, Morocco.
